Starting a Business
Being successful in Small Business requires some specific areas to be covered and sound business knowledge. The Small Business Centre offers guidance and information to help you assess and develop your Business idea from an initial dream to reality.
An initial interview usually takes between 30 minutes and 1 hour and covers everything you need to know to be prepared to enter the world of being a small business operator. The Centre is available following this to help you set up your Business correctly, organise a Mentor who is successfully running their own business, provide ongoing training opportunities and general support.
Running an Existing Business
After the initial starting up phase has passed and you are settling into running your Business new challenges appear. Growing a business can be a challenging task and you now may have added areas to consider such as organisation of staff and it is essential you understand and implement effective growth measurement tools to ensure the growth is sustainable and will not cause ongoing problems.
The Centre has an extensive range of information and resources to help you in all areas of running your Business, whether it be growing, declining, selling or exiting.
One on One Assistance
The Centre is able to assist you with a low cost in house Consultant to help you work on areas of your Business that need attention. This service is provided in conjunction with the Small Business Centre in Bunbury and with support from the Federal Government. The first visit is complimentary.
A needs analysis is conducted to assess specifically which areas your Business could benefit from help in. You can also use your Small Business Smart Business Training Voucher to receive 12 hours training for the cost of 4.
